Mtende Beach, Paje, The Rock, Cuza Cave (4)

What You Can Experience:

Discover one of Zanzibar’s most beautiful beaches, known for its fascinating rock formations. During low tide, take a dip in countless natural pools, watch traditional fishermen at work, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere as the tide slowly makes its way back toward the cliffs. At high tide, this stretch of beach is completely submerged, so it's advisable to check the tide schedule. I’ll be happy to help you choose the best time to visit.

Stroll through the lively village of Paje or watch the many kite surfers gliding across the ocean as you walk barefoot through soft white sand, enjoy a cocktail, or take a refreshing dip in the turquoise sea.

Make a stop at the famous The Rock Restaurant, a picture-perfect location. If you’d like to dine there, you can walk to it during low tide; during high tide, a small fishing boat will take you across. I’ll gladly assist you with making the necessary reservation.

Descend into the cooling caves of Kuza Cave. Surrounded by limestone, the clear, turquoise freshwater offers the perfect spot to cool off.
